 PictureRelate 2.5.1 Lives Up To It`s Hype!
I started using PictureRelate about a week after I first installed it. I' the type of guy who jumps into the deep end of the software, and sees if he can make it to shore before drowning. My success (or failure) depends on the ease of he software, and the help the program provides me. In the case of PictureRelate, I'd give it an 8 out of 10 for ease of use, and a 7 out of 10 for Help Files. With help like that, I made it to shore on my first try.
The software is extremely good a picking out similarities within a large batch (13,000+) of photo images. At it's minimum comparison settings, it find duplicate images (even amongst different sizes of the same image) in an amazingly short period of time (13,000+ files, remember). A simple mouse-over of the located images tells you everything you need to know in order to save the best quality picture. If you need closer examination of the duplicates, the built in image viewer makes it a snap.
As I moved the slider bar up the scale, more duplicates were found. But even more important was that similar photos were grouped together, making the sorting of a rapid series of screen captures (like from a movie), or a rapid series of pictures taken at high speed (like at a live football game) quick & simple. By the end of my first day of using PictureRelate 2.5.1, I had eliminated nearly 3,380 duplicate image files, and sorted down two series of screen capture images down from 900+ captures to a mere 62 clean & sharp images. That meant I'd been able to completely delete 4.225 images off my hard drives. At an average size of 89 KB, I opened up about 375 MB of disk space.
Another nice feature is the database generation. Once you've made you changes, simply save the database, and when your ready to continue your project, just reopen the database. Poof! All of your picture info is back on the screen, just like you left it. Now combine this with the picture similarity screen, and batching pictures across several folders & hard drives into one single folder on the same subject is a snap.
The only drawback I've found so far (& it's minor) is the the database doesn't intuitively update it's self when pictures are moved to new locations. It does track when you tag & remove a duplicate file, s as long as you don't add new images to your drives, or move images from one folder or drive to another, you'll have no problems between edit, locate & delete sessions. However, if you do either of these to things. Before you start your next session with the software, you'll need to reinitialize the database search, so that the new & moved files are properly cataloged within your new database. If you fail to do this, the program becomes confused by the mismatched data, and has a tendency to lock up.
Overall, I give this software a big "Thumb's Up", or an 8 out of 10 for doing exceptionally well, what other programs have tried to do, but failed to accomplish.
If you've got a lot of images stored on your computer network, like I do, then I highly recommend that you get this software and use it. You'll love the result!

Not impressed.
I found this program to tricky to work out, it gives you so many chances to save the button about ten I think, but it's so complicated that you use all the 10 chances up just trying to test the buttons to see how they work, the animated buttons jumeped all over the place, the transparency was awful, the button didn't resemble the button on the platform when I put them on my website, I was deeply disappointed and would buy the item unless I knew for sure I could get great results, most programs give a 30 day trial not 10 clicks, so sorry not interested as a web builder.

A perfect solution
I've just recently entered the consulting arena and needed something better than Excel to keep track of my billings. Fanurio had been fantastic so far. I haven't dug deep into the options yet, as I just needed something fast to get started. The UI is simple, with a low learning curve. I would recommend this to anyone needing a similar time tracking tool. The fact that it outputs invoices as well is just gravy.

My experience with AVS Products
I downloaded the following products from your site:

AVS AudioRecorder
AVS DVD Coppy
I installed these applications and I tried them. First the DVD Player. It worked fine, but I also wanted to compare that with Nero showtime, and Windows media player installed on my system. While AVS worked it seemed that it trashed Nero Showtime and Windows Media Player.
Uninstalling the AVS products, and my attempt to run Nero Showtime failed. I had to re-install Nero to get it to work at all. Next surprise is that while testing Nero Showtime, no sound was heard while the movie was playing. Seems that the removal of AVS AudioRecorder may have trashed my audio codecs as well.
Bottom line is that AVS works for AVS but does not play well with other installed products.

Hi Guys,
Your product looks good, very good in fact, but it has a simple bug that kills it.
Problem Scenario:
Home Win2K3 Advanced Svr box has 120Gb WD disk as Disk0, 500Gb WD disk as Disk2, 500GB WD disk as Disk3. The last two disks were spanned as Drive d:.
They were full so I added a 640GB WD disk as Disk1 and extended the span.
While doing this, I had been given option to use some of disk1 as Drive e:. On reflection, it seemed like a good idea so I deleted the new span on Disk1.
When computer management said, "Warning, you could lose data," I ignored it. After all, I hadn't added any data to the new disk yet.
As my finger went down, I thought "Whoops, this might delete the entire partition!"
Which it did. Bugger!!!
I didn't expect this to be much of a problem. I know that OS's only delete enough information on the drive as to allow them to recognize the newly-available free space for future assignment. Essentially I've ruined probably 3-6 sectors and I want to fix them. I expect the data to be either on the drives (ie backup sectors) or easily reconstructed.
As an MSDN subscriber, I went to the knowledge base and found an article that said to simply replace the MBR with its copy on the last sector on the disk.
Then I found that disk probe 2 has serious problems with dynamic disks. Every time I try to read a sector it comes back with the error message "Invalid Parameter."
Using another disk editor, I loaded the last sector on physical disk 2. It begins with "PRIVHEAD" and appears identical to sector 6. Microsoft's information is both wrong and dangerous.
I've borrowed or downloaded quite a few disk editors and partition tools.
Several refuse to work with Win2k3 Advanced Server, generally wanting more money. This seems pretty silly since all I'd have to do is replace Disk0 and install XP Pro on it. With its data partition dead, it's not doing much serving right now anyway. Much cheaper than the $500.00+ some companies wanted. Not only is this greedy, it is also insulting: just how stupid do they think system administrators/we are?
Several recognize the 1.6TB partition but can't work out what to do with it. One says there's a problem with the table, one reports an error that the partition is bigger than the disk (Duh!) A couple find all the files but say that the ones on the other disk are beyond recovery. One wants a floppy disk (and only a floppy) to store current sectors before it overwrites them. A FLOPPY!!!??? We're not a museum here! If it has the smarts to repair disks, it should be able to tell the difference between live ones and dead ones.
Too many want to recover files to another disk. Clearly in this case this is unneccessary which indicates poor problem analysis. The files are fine; it's the partition that's the problem. Also, although not in this case--mobo is ASUS P5GD2 Deluxe with 8+ SATA ports, it could be that there are no available ports to plug extra drives into.
Which brings us to your product.
It installed cleanly and when I ran it, it detected the physical devices and the partition on Disk0.
I went into the RAID Data Recovery and found that the first option was for a spanned volume. I could have kissed you!
I created the span 0x82+0x83+0x81. Looking at the verbose output from dmdiag, I suspect that this could have been avoided or a default selection.
Then it fell apart.
The maths are wrong.
It thinks the partition size is 531TB!!! (cf ~1.6TB actually)
If you start a scan, it says it will take about 200 hours which is wrong: every attempt to read a physical sector beyond disk limits will take a second or so and be reported as an error. It thinks there are 1,139,635,017,974 sectors on the partition.
